FileMaker on Netbooks
Netbooks are the flavour of the month this year but there is a lot of uncertainty as to their capability. "Fine for web-browsing, emailing and a little word-processing but thats about it" seems to be the prevailing wisdom. Will FileMaker-based solutions run on netbooks? The answer is a conditional "yes". We have designed and deployed two systems specifically for use on netbook computers this year and they have been a success. However, since netbooks are designed to be small and above all, cheap, there maybe some hardware-imposed limitations with some models. Contact us if you need more information.
